Tree work using chainsaw from the ground or with rope and harness can be dangerous without the relevant training, which is why the industry has strict procedures that should be followed.
Stuart has been trained and examined by NPTC (City & Guilds) and LANTRA. He is therefore qualified to carry out tree felling, processing, working with a chainsaw from a rope and harness and using a brush wood chipper.
Wearing the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including chainsaw trousers, chainsaw boots, head, eye and ear protection that meets european standards.
Work is undertaken in accordance with BS 3998:2010 Tree work. Recommendations making sure that the needs of the tree and environment are met to British Standards.
All equipment meets with The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
